Relevance of Nationally Published Quality Journals
April 13, 2023, 12:00 – 14:00 (BRT/UTC-3)
The objective of this seminar is to present the bibliometric indicators provided by Dialnet, as well as to show the procedure for indexing journals from SciELO collections in Dialnet.
The bibliometric indicators provided by Dialnet will be presented as well as the presentation of a collective portal to learn about the potential of these indicators in some disciplines compared to those of the large commercial databases. On the other hand, the process of indexing documents from the journals of the SciELO Mexico collection in the Dialnet database will be presented, which represents an important advance in the collaboration between these two open access systems that aims to increase the visibility of the academic research published in these Mexican journals, as well as to provide them with bibliometric information from the set of titles included in Dialnet.
