400\">El Archival Resource Keys (ARKs) es un sistema de PIDs abierto que proporciona referencias confiables para objetos de informaci\u00f3n son una alternativa de bajo costo y flexible para asignar identificadores persistentes. En este seminario presentamos dos experiencias de implementaci\u00f3n de ARK en la regi\u00f3n latinoamericana, ARK-CAICYT, una plataforma de servicios para la asignaci\u00f3n de identificadores persistentes y dARK, un servicio de PIDs descentralizado y abierto concebido desde el principio como un bien p\u00fablico para el ecosistema de Ciencia PIDs (\u00abpersistent identifiers\u00bb por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) son un elemento clave para identificar y referirse en forma \u00abpermanente\u00bb a art\u00edculos, libros, autores, documentos, archivos, bases de datos, muestras, objetos de arte y p\u00e1ginas, entre otros objetos digitales.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los identificadores \u00abDigital Object Identifier\u00bb DOI se han consolidado como un soluci\u00f3n efectiva y estandarizada para la identificaci\u00f3n de objetos digitales. Sin embargo, en algunas regiones del sur global la cobertura de DOI es baja debido a los costos que estos servicios representan para algunas instituciones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En este contexto presentamos soluciones alternativas, complementarias e innovadoras desarrolladas en Latinoam\u00e9rica orientadas a mejorar la cobertura de PIDs en nuestra regi\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Archival Resource Keys (ARKs) es un sistema de PIDs abierto que proporciona referencias confiables para objetos de informaci\u00f3n son una alternativa de bajo costo y flexible para asignar identificadores persistentes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En este seminario presentamos dos experiencias de implementaci\u00f3n de ARK en la regi\u00f3n latinoamericana<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ARK-CAICYT es una plataforma de servicios para la asignaci\u00f3n de identificadores persistentes. Es una experiencia piloto desarrollada por el Centro Argentino de Informaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica y Tecnol\u00f3gica (CAICYT) dependiente del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas y T\u00e9cnicas (CONICET) de Argentina orientada a garantizar los medios para la identificaci\u00f3n de recursos en el campo de la comunicaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica argentina.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dARK: de un servicio de PIDs descentralizado y abierto concebido desde el principio como un bien p\u00fablico para el ecosistema de Ciencia Abierta. La tecnolog\u00eda subyacente, blockchain, permite compartir la gobernanza y los costos bajos entre redes nacionales y regionales de investigaci\u00f3n\/educaci\u00f3n en colaboraci\u00f3n con institutos\/universidades de investigaci\u00f3n individuales, mediante la provisi\u00f3n de peque\u00f1os recursos computacionales. Es un proyecto desarrollado por el Instituto Brasileiro de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o em Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia (IBICT) y LA Referencia<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El seminario presentar\u00e1 el tema en general, junto con el enfoque que LA Referencia est\u00e1 desarrollando en conjunto con sus nodos nacionales. Es Coordinador T\u00e9cnico de Tratamiento, An\u00e1lisis y Difusi\u00f3n de Informaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica en el Instituto Brasile\u00f1o de Informaci\u00f3n en Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (Ibict\/MCTI). Es miembro y coordina proyectos, comit\u00e9s en las \u00e1reas de Open Science y Data Science. Es l\u00edder del Grupo Brasile\u00f1o de Investigaci\u00f3n y Laboratorio de Ecosistemas de Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica (LaEPeCBr) (<a
