Unifesp, Mestre em Inform\u00e1tica em Sa\u00fade pela Escola Paulista de Medicina &#8211; EPM\/Unifesp e graduado em Ci\u00eancias da Computa\u00e7\u00e3o pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas &#8211; Unicamp.<\/p><p>Tardelli foi diretor do Centro Latino-Americano e do Caribe de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o em Ci\u00eancias da Sa\u00fade &#8211; BIREME\/OPAS\/OMS (2012-2015) e gerente da \u00e1rea de Administra\u00e7\u00e3o de Fontes de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o (1995-2012) desta institui\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>Como consultor e funcion\u00e1rio internacional da OPAS\/OMS, liderou o desenvolvimento de bibliotecas de software da fam\u00edlia ISIS (a chamada Interface CISIS), que operam com alta capacidade e funcionalidades para o processamento de textos estruturados, como s\u00e3o as refer\u00eancias bibliogr\u00e1ficas e os textos completos de artigos cient\u00edficos. Estas bibliotecas foram essenciais no desenvolvimento da plataforma de opera\u00e7\u00e3o das cole\u00e7\u00f5es SciELO, incluindo o registro, armazenamento e recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de textos dos artigos e seus metadados. Dotaram a opera\u00e7\u00e3o da plataforma SciELO com alta efici\u00eancia e sustentabilidade, e s\u00e3o utilizadas at\u00e9 hoje.<\/p><p>Anteriormente, Tardelli foi gerente do Centro de Inform\u00e1tica da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Carlos Chagas (1986-1995), Chefe do Departamento de Sistemas da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o SEADE (1979-1987) e Analista de Sistemas do Centro de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o da Universidade Estadual de Campinas &#8211; Unicamp (1976-1977).
