J\u00e9zio Hernani Bomfim Gutierre<\/h3>

ORCID:<\/b> 0000-0002-9251-6527<\/a><\/span>
He has a degree in Economics from the Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (1977) and a PhD in Philosophy from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000). He is currently a professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista J\u00falio de Mesquita Filho in the areas of Epistemology and Philosophy of Language. From 2001 to 2015 he was the Executive Editor of Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Editora da Unesp. Since 2015 he has been the CEO of Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Editora da Unesp and, in parallel, he is the publisher of the same institution. He has been a member of the SciELO Books Managing Council since its creation in 2012. In 2023, he assumed the presidency of Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Editoras Universit\u00e1rias (ABEU).<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Carlos Alberto Gianotti <\/h3>

Carlos Alberto Gianotti has a background in physics, a discipline he taught for over thirty years. In 1993 he founded the UNISINOS Publishing House (of the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos, RS), of which he was the executive editor until January 2023, having published more than a thousand national or translated titles. He was a member of several boards of ABEU during these years. He has written dozens of essays and is the author of the collections \u201cUm rio circunferencial\u201d (WS Editor) and \u201cFalar o que seja \u00e9 in\u00fatil\u201d (Circuito Editorial), and coauthor of \u201cUm livro: do autor ao leitor\u201d (ABEU). He lives in Porto Alegre.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Rita Virginia Argollo<\/h3>

ORCID:<\/b> 0000-0003-0884-8631<\/a><\/span>
She has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), a specialization in Regional History from the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC), a master's degree in Education from UFBA, and a doctorate in Education, also from UFBA, when she joined the Curriculum and (In)Formation research line at GEC \u2013 Grupo de Pesquisas sobre Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Tecnologias. She works mainly on the following themes: communication, education and technologies; digital culture; television; journalism and video. She has experience in telejournalism, public relations, audiovisual production, teaching in higher education, implementation and management of courses. Currently she is dedicated to studying journalism on the web. In parallel, she has served as director of Editus \u2013 Editora da UESC since 2012, was Regional Director of ABEU-Nordeste (2015-2019), President of the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira das Editoras Universit\u00e1rias (ABEU) from 2019 to 2023 and is currently Vice-President of ABEU.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
