The SCImago IBER platform based on the Scopus index allows recovering the evolution of the performance of research and innovation and its social impact in Iberoamerica, in five-year periods, between 2012 and 2021, with filters by country, region, institution, sector, thematic area, publication language, and publication in SciELO journals. The seminar will present the functionalities of the platform aimed at informing investigations and bibliometric studies and evaluation and decision-making processes on scientific production, innovation, and social impact.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

SCImago LAB launched in April 2023 the SCImago IBER portal, which is the updated and expanded online version of the successive editions of documents published since 2005 with rankings of the performance of institutions in research, innovation and social impact, characterizing them in terms of their contribution scientific, economic and social.<\/span><\/p>\n

The data and indicators of SCImagoIBER are systematized from the indexes and systems Scopus, Unpaywall, Patstat, PlumX and Mendeley. The 16 indicators of SCImago IBER reflect the scientific activity in 3 different areas: research, innovation and social impact, which constitute an exhaustive general view of the performance of the research activity of an institution, a region or a country. The indicators can also be selected by major thematic areas, language of publication and publication in SciELO journals.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

She has a PhD in Documentation from the Universidad de Granada since 2007. She is currently working as a scientometric advisor for the Vice-Presidency of Scientific and Technical Research of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas of Spain and coordinates the MAX-CSIC project.<\/p>\n

As a member of the SCImago research group since its inception, she participated in the most important projects of this group, the \"SCImago Journal & Country Rank-SJR<\/a>\" and the \"SCImago Institutions Rankings<\/a>\" (result of the signing of a research agreement with Elsevier-Scopus). Both platforms are open access benchmark scientometric tools for the evaluation of journals, countries and institutions with scientific production indexed in the Scopus database. The \"SIR Iber<\/a>\" 2023 is being presented this year with important new features, both in terms of format and indicators. Other international projects in which it has participated include the \"Atlas de la Ciencia<\/a>\" (subsidized by the R&D&I project of the Ministry of Education and Science SEJ-2004-08358-C02-01\/SOCI and the Complementary Action SEJ2005-24008-E). The project has had a large expansion in Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Portugal and Venezuela. The \"Ranking of Ibero-American Research Institutions-RI3<\/a>\" (which was subsidized by Universia) and the \"Mi perfil Investigador-MPI<\/a>\" (subsidized by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology-FECYT). Collaboration with other research groups (Universidad de Extremadura, Universidad Carlos III, Universidad de Alcal\u00e1 y la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) is vital for the realization of these projects. She has been principal investigator of several projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation dedicated to the analysis of scientific production in various fields: thematic, regional and authors.<\/p>\n

The extensive activity of the SCImago group has led it to sign several collaboration agreements with different national (FECYT, Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Principado de Asturias, Consorcio de Bibliotecas P\u00fablicas de Galicia and individual universities) and international institutions (CONICYT, CONACYT and the Foro Consultivo de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda, CONICET, IESALC, Colciencias .... and other individual universities), which were used for the preparation of scientific reports on the scientific production of international visibility of different clusters in which the researcher actively participated in two complementary areas: the preparation of the scientometric reports and the coordination of the standardization tasks of the databases used, especially at the institutional, geographic and sectoral level. She also participated in SCImago's collaboration with other regional data providers, such as REDALyC and SciELO.<\/p>\n

She is the author of several publications: books, book chapters, and articles published in international journals.<\/p>\n

His main research lines are: Advanced information retrieval techniques for the development of real-time information systems; visualization techniques for scientific information oriented to interface design, analysis and evaluation in scientific domains; scientometric analysis in different domains oriented to solve specific problems; design of information systems in the field of scientometrics as tools to help decision making processes.<\/p><\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He has a PhD in Philosophy (Geography and History, History section) from the Universidad de Granada since 1992.<\/p>\n

He is CEO of SCImago Lab and principal researcher of SCImago Group, which carries out ambitious R&D projects, such as "Scimago Journal & Country Rank-SJR" and "Scimago Institutions Rankings" or SCImago IBER (result of the signature of a research agreement with Elsevier-Scopus), "Atlas de la Ciencia" (subsidized by the R&D&I project of the Ministry of Education and Science SEJ-2004-08358-C02-01\/SOCI and by the Complementary Action SEJ2005-24008-E). Participated in four European projects directly related to e-learning: VALUE: Vinculaci\u00f3n y Valorizaci\u00f3n mutua entre universidades de America Latina y de la Union Europea. MASSIVE: Modelling Advice and Support Services to Integrate the Virtual component in Higher Education. VICTORIOUS: VIrtual Curricula ThrOugh Reliable InterOperating University Systems. And, finally, REVE: Real Virtual Erasmus.<\/p>\n

F\u00e9lix de Moya-Aneg\u00f3n's professional career is based on three basic pillars: first, his exceptional research profile, which has led him to publish numerous papers in prestigious national and international journals and to lead research projects; second, his work as a manager since 1989 at the Universidad de Granada, first as Director of the Faculty of Library and Information Science and later as Vice-Rector of University Community Services; and finally, the more business-oriented facet he currently performs.<\/p>\n
